The Bride’s Brother by J.P. Oliver, Narrated by Randi Johnson
Toby
Is it wrong to be attracted to the groom in a wedding? Or I thought he was the groom! No, this guy is open and single and… into me? Is he into me?
He’d be the first for quite some time.
I have to admit, seeing all these weddings come and go can be a bit much when you go home all by yourself. But is it ethical to date a client’s brother?
Hunter
He’s such a snob, but I guess he’s no worse than my sister. I’m always the one shoved around by everyone–but even him?
At least he understands when it’s a case of mistaken identity. I certainly never said I was marrying my sister. That would be one screwed up situation and besides, I’m not much for women anyway.
Still, I’ve never met quite anyone like him. He’s seen so much love, but he doesn’t have any for himself. I wouldn’t mind changing that.
This mistaken identity book is steaming hot and ready for your eager fingers. Please, no one under legal age of their origin country.

๐๐๐ 3.75 stars for the story
๐ฅ๐ฅ Heat Level: 2.5 – sort of slow-burn with just simmering levels of steam
๐ง๐ง๐ง๐ง๐ง Narration: 5 – I was really impressed!
I’ve had this book marked to read since its release and am very happy I was able to wait for the narration. The narration elevated this story!!
I really liked the premise of the story and was my first foray into the ‘brother/sibling’ trope and it was enjoyable. I really liked Toby; he’s bold, confident and fierce, He doesn’t stand for shit. The mistaken identity part of this book was humorous and the miscommunication and awkward attempts at flirting by Hunter were endearing. All in all, it was an enjoyable ‘quick’ read but would highly recommend the narration.
As mentioned, the narration for this book was great! Randi injects passion into his reading of this novel and helps elevate the story and the emotions as the book was read. I felt Randi’s narration made this book that much more enjoyable. Randi was also able to create different dialects for each character that made it seem like two different narrators were reading. I feel this may have been especially hard when there is no real set switch between the main characters. Randi has done a great job with this narration and I look forward to more audiobooks from him!!
