Wow, an amazing story about healing, finding love and taking your life back!

This is the first book of Laura’s I have read, such a talented writer! I love the Australian (Perth) setting and these Bromley Brothers are a great trio. I look forward to reading the other stories.

This book wasn’t what I expected. The BDSM elements were light and enjoyable without being too extreme. I enjoyed the power play, intrigue, and adaptability of these characters. This showed the wonderful care and compatibility of Henry and Ryan, outside of their lust at first sight situation. The story is fast moving and powerful. Ryan is recovering from a serious betrayal that Henry happens to be helping him heal from with the caring and love as their attraction grows. The interactions between these two touched my heart. There is sexual assault (off-page) but is discussed and that could be confronting to some readers, but Laura takes such care and love in writing Ryan’s story that you can connect with his situation, witness his healing process and be there with him as he takes his life back! I found Laura’s approach empathetic and respectful and enjoyed her approach to Ryan’s healing process.

On another note, the sexual content is in this book is hot, hot, hot! There is both lust and attraction from the get-go and sparks fly when Ryan and Henry meet. I enjoyed the intrigue Laura introduces with Ryan and how Henry wishes to explore his attraction to Ryan as the story continues. Laura does an amazing job at creating the lust and desire on the page and the progression of the characters connections; from a strong attraction to love, which grows organically as the story progresses.

A powerful story about finding a person your person, trusting again and healing together! I loved it!
