A saucy, fast-paced, little collection!!
Alpha’s Hearts
I loved Taylor. So sassy, fun and unique; a wonderful little peacock! It was predictable that he would end up with the Alpha Mikael but that’s to be expected. It was a thrilling, sassy and snarky adventure for Mikael and Taylor to find, scent and mate. I enjoyed that Taylor stayed true to himself and liked that he rose perfectly to the Alpha mate position. Their knotting was hot and the dynamics between a bear and a wolf shifter was interesting to ‘read’ too. I felt a little lost in parts of this story and would recommend first reading Northern Lodge Pack series to understand the threatening elements in this story and know more of the characters. Apparently, we had already met these characters before in the Northern Lodge Pack Series. After this story, I went onto ‘read’ Northern Lodge Pack Book 6 to understand more about Mikael’s sister, what she had to do with Oskar and the threat she poses that is mentioned throughout this book and into the next story too.
I also loved Alpha Heir, Stefen and look forward to his story. He seemed like a lot of fun and like Taylor, not afraid to be himself! (I also love Steffy-kins relationship with Tay-Tay LOL).
Alpha’s Mates
I very much liked Jules, Colin and Sean’s story. I enjoyed this triad and the unique dynamics between 2 Alphas and an Omega. I liked that Sean, like Colin, was a virgin too, so sweet! These three are HOT together (and I learned things I’m not sure I needed too) and I felt more connected to this story having first listened to Alpha’s Heart and Omega Accepted. I can now follow the characters and threats a lot better. In this story, the pack war and threats are escalating and the attacks in this story were sad as well as added a thrill of danger as this triad found their place together. I look forward to seeing what will happen next!!
Alpha’s Strength
I love Stefen and loved his story. Diageo was wonderful! I enjoyed the thrilling elements as the war against Yuvonne continues and like the ‘real-world’ pregnancy issues Diageo faces. This was probably my favorite story from this collection and I really enjoyed seeing Stefen find his fated mate and see all the other couples continue their happily ever after(s), in light of the upcoming/continuing war.
This collection has set the pace for the continuing war with Yuvonne and has me intrigued to see what’s to happen next and who else will find their mates in this Den!
All in all, great fated mates short story collection but would recommend reading/listening as a continuation on from Northern Lodge Pack Series for the story flow to make sense.
Great narration by John Solo. He does great dialects, tones and had the perfect story flow. Very talented and will continue to be on my top list of narrators!

I really enjoyed this story!
I loved this particular Alpha (small)/Omega (big) dynamic and loved Maxx’s care and sweetness he has around and for Oskar. Oskar is just adorable and I felt for him and his past. The dynamics between Maxx and Oskar are great, sweet and steamy.
While a somewhat short story I felt Susi did great to pack so much into a novella length story and great chemistry, a little healing, and danger into the story too. While enjoying this story I felt there was so much more that could have been explored!
As noted above I only ‘read’ this story to follow on better to the Northern Pines Den series but feel this was still a great story that could be read as a standalone if you felt inclined.
Great narration by John Solo. He does great dialects, tones and had the perfect story flow. Very talented and will continue to be on my top list of narrators!
