Three wonderful, heartwarming, yet unique stories. With colorful characters, sass, wit and all the feels you want from Susi. I loved MacIntosh Meadows!!
~~~~
The Alpha’s Widower — Dean (Alpha, youngest MacIntosh brother) & Laurie (Omega)
A wonderful bi-awakening, best-friends-to-lovers tale!! I loved Laurie! I felt for him and all he had to go through and OMG his mother in law is demonic, I’m so glad she got taken down but she could have received a harsher sentence.
I love Susi’s approach to Dean and his relationships. He’s so sweet and caring and I loved his character arc. Such a sweet couple!
~~~~
The Omega’s Dance — Kade (Omega, middle MacIntosh brother) & Alec (Alpha)
This one made me cry on multiple occasions! Both for Alec and his first love and Kade’s upbringing and the hot and cold feelings Alec seemed to project towards Kade.
I think these two are my favorites! So much pain in their past (& present) to overcome, I felt they were perfectly matched and while they had a serious challenge to face their pain they were finally able to move forward together! All the feels!!
~~~~
The Alpha’s Manny — Zeke (Alpha, eldest MacIntosh brother) & Dusty (Omega)
The last one to wrap up these brothers’ stories! A sweet and surprising duo, with all the feels you could want, a bit of foot in mouth syndrome (thanks Zeke) and some hardships to overcome, I really liked these two. I felt they had great chemistry from the start and while Zeke had to come to terms with surprise fatherhood and fiery attraction, I loved his growth and how he stepped up into fatherhood and love so well. A beautiful finale!!
Great narration by Drew Bacca on each of these stories! I really enjoyed the whole series and felt all the characters were ‘read’ differently and this was surprisingly consistent over all three books.
A Merry MacIntosh Christmas
Written by Susi Hawke
Narrated by Drew Bacca
What do you do when the person you can’t get out of your head is the son of the man who jilted you 30 years ago? Proceed with caution!
When Dr. Joseph Nielson – aka Doc – walked into his exam room, the last thing he expected to find was the spitting image of the fiance who had hurt him so badly that he’d spent the rest of his adult life as a bitter bachelor.
Marion Harris is a 29-year-old virgin…who happens to be nine months pregnant, thanks to having agreed to be a surrogate for his best friend. After an unlucky year of sorrow, he’s now alone with a child to raise and nowhere else to go but his father’s hometown of MacIntosh Meadows.
After a not-so-great first impression, the two men keep finding themselves pushed together during the holiday season they both hate by a mischievous family who loves them – the MacIntosh clan. Despite every reason they shouldn’t, neither one can find a good enough reason to fight the matchmaking…or the natural attraction they both feel.
This is the fourth book in this heart-warming series and contains a virgin giving birth in a barn, three wise guys in pajamas, and enough holiday feels to keep you smiling into the new year. Pretty much everything you’d expect from a Susi Hawke book.
Another MacIntosh Winner! I loved Doc & Marion!
Charming and endearing. I loved Marion right from the start. While challenges, sadness, and bad luck drove him to MacIntosh Meadows; once he arrived he was immediately adopted by the MacIntosh Matriarch’s and his life turns around. He finds a family, a sexy alpha in Doc (eventually), and a new life he always wanted. This story has all the feels you want, and have come to expect from Susi and all the loveable MacItosh characters around to celebrate, match-make, and charm you, all over again.
Wonderful narration, great characters, and another lovable story!! I loved it!
Additional Note: I loved the hilarious, on-the-nose similarities of a virgin giving birth in a barn, with 3 wise goats and Joseph & Marion’s names LOL. I also loved that each chapter of all the MacIntosh books starts with a song title. A very clever scene-setting addition!
