Wild Hearts Omega
By Jean. K. Hart

Whiskey & Scars, Book 1
Shiloh wasn’t a typical omega…
He liked his boots tall, his shirts short and his Alpha’s big and bad. He gives just as good as he takes, and he could ride a cowboy like a devil. Working at the pleasure house in Greyhound’s Canyon, Shiloh was planning to pick up his belongings and leave his life in the town of Greyhound Canyon until he met his match.
Michael Cox was a stone-cold killer.
A ruthless bounty hunter with a wiry grin, smoking hot body, and legs that would make even a bull shudder. Shiloh knew he was in for the ride of his life when Michael came to his bed.
It ends just as quickly as it starts and Michael Cox disappears like doused smoke from a fire.
Good riddance. Even though Shiloh’s heart had beaten out of his chest at the mere sight of the black leather-clad Alpha, with his wicked guns and dimpled grin, Michael Cox was the sweetest sin. In the South, we take our whiskey neat, and our scars with a dose of pride.
Shiloh was getting on just fine without him until he was taken in the middle of the night by Michael’s sworn enemies. Can Shiloh survive? Or will Michael have to unleash the animal inside him to get his Omega back?

Exclusive Excerpt:
Michael kissed Shiloh awake, tasting the salt of his tears, smelling the rust of his apprehension. Shiloh’s kiss was like a flame licking up from a morning fire, the first heat of a new day in the wilderness, chasing away the dampness of dew and the nip of the overnight frost. He teased and he taunted and he knew not that he did it as it was so natural to him now. How could Michael have ever tricked himself into thinking he could remain so passive to him? That he could deny himself this? All he wanted to do was lay this omega down on the mattress and worship his body, freckled and pale. He wanted to press his nose down into those russet curls between his thighs and know him.
Shiloh’s arms were around his neck, holding him in a desperate grip, clawing at his shoulders in passion and fervor. He was so lovely, this creature, and it mattered not that he was so eager. Michael would cave to him… at least partially. He did not have to be begged. He did not have to be cajoled. He did not have to be tempted by the lycan of Greyhounds Canyon any more than he had been already.
“Mmmgh!” Shiloh moaned into his mouth, moving his hands to Michael’s throat, his fingers pressing over the black shirt. He seemed to hesitate there, tracing as scars if they served as a reminder of Michael’s near-death encounter, etched into his skin as a permanent reminder of his brush with danger.
He felt Shiloh’s fervor renew and he let the omega unfasten his shirt, pulling it open while he continued to distract with warm, tempting kisses that held within them the sparkling lust of fallen angels. It wasn’t long before his shoulders were bare and it was at this point that Shiloh remembered something while his lips danced away over Michael’s flesh.
“You… you’re…”
“Not perfect,” Michael replied.
“Who is?”
