Sky Diver First-Class Eron Marcel makes his living hunting whalls, giant sea creatures valued for their oil and hide. But when a hunt goes disastrously wrong, Eron is saved by a creature he did not know even existed: half-human and half-fish. Working with his rescuer, a young mer named Ket, Eron learns that the mer rely on the whalls for protection from the sea’s dangers, and both species are facing potential extinction.
But conservation means nothing compared to profit to the rich oil barons. The mer and their relationship with the whalls might be the key to gaining even more power over the sea and its spoils, and Ket is the perfect bargaining chip. Eron is faced with the decision of what is more important: saving the mer, or saving Ket?
Where the Sky Meets the Sea is an M/M adventure-romance set in a steampunk-style world. It is a standalone novel with a HEA and no cliffhanger.

Exclusive Excerpt:
The head tipped curiously to one side, regarding him, and Eron saw with a start that rather than ears on the sides of its head, there were what looked like fins instead, with a firmer structure and a strange, almost delicate webbing between them, like the fin on the spine of a fish. The ear fins perked up, seeming to move almost of their own accord, and Eron sucked in a sharp breath. The ear fins twitched at the sound. It was such a strange movement that he might have laughed if he had not been so terrified.
The eyes gazed at him for a long moment, and Eron did not look away, as if to do so would bring the creature charging forward. The staring contest between them stretched for he couldn’t tell how long before the water rippled, and the creature appeared to be coming closer. But the movement was slow and cautious, the golden eyes bright and full of something he couldn’t decipher, but it didn’t seem malicious. He stayed still where he was, legs pulled in defensively, body tight if he needed to dive aside.
The creature stopped a few yards away, continuing to stare at him with unblinking eyes. A long, lean arm came out of the water to rest on the edge of the stones, and Eron saw that there was that fin-like webbing in between each finger on the four-fingered hand. Well, three fingers and a thumb, he realized. That’s interesting, a water creature that has thumbs, he vaguely thought in the back of his head, not sure where that had even come from.
