Exclusive Excerpt: The Kiss
“I really, really want to kiss you again,” I tell him.
Harrison’s smile is big and the corners of his eyes crease just a little in the most perfect way.
“Then do it?” he says, and I don’t hesitate pushing up on my toes again and mashing our mouths together.
He spins me and presses my back against the rail. The cool metal, a harsh contrast to the heat of him against my chest. His hands go to my hips and in one swift movement, he lifts me up to sit on the edge. Like they know exactly what to do, despite never having been in a position like this with any guy, my legs wrap around his waist, and my arms around his neck. I’m taller than him like this, and leaning down over him gives me a sort of control I’ve never had. I squeeze my legs tighter around his middle, pulling him hard against me and sliding my fingers through his hair. He tries to say something but it comes out as a muffled moan and I pull back.
“Sorry, what?”
“Do you want to go inside?”
“Absolutely,” I reply, glancing at the large bed behind him.
He slides his hands under my ass, lifts me from the rail, and carries me into the bedroom.
