Can David help Mason dance, like he’s never danced before?

Blurb

New job, new city: Mason hopes both will lead to him escaping burnout as a ballet dancer. Not living out of a suitcase anymore is a bonus. His new life gets off to a steamy start when he encounters his new neighbour, David. Things soon become complicated when Mason turns up for his first day at BalletEast, to discover that David is not only his choreographer, but the man who inspired him to take up dancing in the first place.

With two divorces and a string of failed relationships behind him, David has no intention of promising ‘forever’ to anyone. But when he meets Mason, he falls hard and fast for the enigmatic young dancer. As David becomes more serious about Mason, he wants to open his lover’s eyes to the kinks that he enjoys.

Whilst the two men are navigating the early stages of their romance, Mason is facing immense pressures in the rehearsal studios that threaten to dampen his natural enthusiasm for life. Will David’s love and support be enough to help Mason continue to hold his head high and dance like he’s never danced before?

**Contains explicit language and sex scenes, including mild, consensual BDSM**

Dynamic, romantic and real. I loved Mason and David!!

I love Colette’s writing and I loved this story as an audiobook! Mason has so much love to give and I hated how he is bullied in the book. The way Mason is written you can’t help but feel his emotions and I just fell in love with him and his passion for dance.

The meet-cute between Mason and David feels like fate and I loved the blatant flirting straight from the start. Colette does so well making moving in and building furniture sexy. David is so sophisticated and sexy. The May/December dynamic works really well between these characters and as the story progresses I forgot about the age difference as they fit so perfectly together. I also liked that the story is realistic. They promise commitment but not marriage, like many books do, and I liked that this felt so real and is still a wonderful happily ever after.

The BSDM elements are approached slowly and realistically, while still being sexy. I kind of wanted more and I really wanted the spanking to happen on the page but, alas it was clever of Colette to tease us! Well done! I enjoyed the whole story and will definably be adding this to read again!

I loved the narration, it was really well done but more of a read-to-you style as opposed to where the narrator does different characters voices. Still very easy to listen to and I do love an English accent!
