Window Watcher by Matt Converse
Murder is in the eye of the beholder. In this M/M nod to Alfred Hitchcock’s classic Rear Window, Heston is a writer who spends most of his life alone in his own little world. One spring day he pulls up his window shades and sees more than he ever imagined.
The gorgeous and younger Icarus wants Heston to commit to love. To prove himself, he ends up trying to solve a murder without either of them becoming the next victim. A peek into a stranger’s life can turn from sexy to deadly in the blink of an eye. What you see isn’t always what you get.

🔥 Heat Level: 1-2 focus on the horror and thrill!
A thrilling, gripping and chilling story, where getting caught watching could turn deadly!!
This tale was spine-tinglingly haunting and drew me in from the start. A very fitting nod to Alfred Hitchcock and had the same creepy, edge-of-your-seat tension that is reminiscent of Hitchcock.
I really enjoyed Matt’s writing style and the words flow seamlessly to create tension and suspense perfectly! I loved Heston and Icarus and their connection and happenstance of window watching Heston’s neighbor. Matt created the perfect balance of dreams and reality and the twisted tale of a serial killer wreaking havoc around town. The dreams intertwined with the danger and darkness and twisted ‘reality’ just enough to keep me guessing and on the edge of my seat as to what twist could happen possibly happen next.
Matt’s mind for horror and suspense is not like anything I’ve read and I may have had to turn all my lights to read the pivotal climax! This story is a must for any horror and serial killer suspense fan. It was a twisted, tension-filled thrill, I devoured in one sitting! Get your copy now!
