I finally have a chance to team up with Bradley, the hot fellow police officer that I’ve been longing to get closer to. Somehow, I haven’t scared him off, even with my awkward flirting and my father telling him that I mimed giving birth to a cat as a child. When we get a call about a missing college student, I’m eager for the chance to work a case with Bradley, especially when we realize that there might be something more going on. But Bradley and I are determined to figure it out together, even if it means that I have to walk through an adult shop with him by my side. It’s not my fault that the store owners think he’s a stripper with his tight uniform. Okay, maybe that’s just what I was hoping for. A man can dream, right?

Spending time with Bradley is better than I ever imagined. He’s sweet, funny, and goes along with just about anything I say or do. It doesn’t help that I have a problem of rushing into situations without thinking them through, like the death ride on his motorcycle. But when we go to Ace’s Wild to see if we can find out more about the missing person, I learn something new about Bradley that could help me get closer to him. And the book I buy might give me some insight if I would actually read it instead of just looking at the pictures. When he asks me out, I realize that maybe I’m not the only one who wants more. Here’s hoping I don’t scare him off with the location of our second date!

Rushing In is 41k words of humor, snark, action, romance, and the kind of restaurant you don’t want to tell your mom about.

**Rushing In is part of a multi-author series of books that take place in the same fictional town. Each story can be read in any order. The connecting element in the Ace’s Wild series is an adult store owned by Ace and Wilder. The main characters from each book will make at least one visit to Ace’s Wild, where they’ll buy a toy to use in their story! The only characters who cross over to each book are Ace and Wilder. And with various heat levels, there’s sure to be something for everyone!**

AMAZING! Hilarious, sweet, sexy and fun! I couldn’t have loved it more!!!!

Oh, my word, Alice is magic! Clyde is sarcastic, a little self-deprecating, and hilarious, his relationship with his father is totally awesome, so funny and delightfully embarrassing. I couldn’t stop laughing throughout most of this book and while there are some serious parts, Alice fills them with just as much heart and care as she does with her humor.

Clyde and Bradley play off of each other so well and their banter is next level. Add in a motorcycle and you have a uniquely hilarious moment that will keep you laughing for most of the book.

While hilarious this story still has heart and I enjoyed the lust-filled start to the relationship between Clyde and Bradley, as they partner up to solve a missing persons turn assault case. They have lighthearted moments but they will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of this case and help the victim as best they can.

Sassy humor, slapstick comedy, & copious amounts of wit. This story is not to be missed! A serious tummy workout from laughing so much! I just loved everything about this book, the story, the humor, and the characters! Fantastic!! If you’re looking for a book to make you laugh (& leave you with all the feels), then this is the perfect book!!

Blurb

What happens when a snarky hitman and a by-the-book PI cross paths?

Leland
Being a hitman has its perks, but I never thought getting an accidental mooning by an attractive PI while he’s caught on a fence would be one of them. While it’s not exactly love at first sight, he’s captured my interest and won’t let go.

Suddenly, I find myself caught in a game of cat and mouse, determined to attract the attention of Jackson, the PI who should be my enemy. He pretends like he’s not flattered by my flowers and the mentions of my totally-not-fictitious blow-up doll Randy (or was it Dandy?), but I know better. Why else would he be teaming up with me to bring down Hardek, one of the city’s most ruthless criminals?

Jackson
Even though the cops are telling me that the hitman is a notorious contract killer, I can’t help but admit that I’m drawn to him. He’s funny, charismatic, and attractive. There’s no way this ridiculous man can be the person the cops are after.

But when Leland ends up at my doorstep injured, I’m faced with a tough choice. It’s my duty to hand him over to law enforcement, but my heart has other plans. I want to keep him. To protect him. To be with him.

Though one question remains: why in the world does the man have so many d*mn guns?

Contains: shenanigans on a swing that you would NOT find at a playground, a car chase that sadly doesn’t have flips or explosions, a horsey ride sans horse, cuddles, an exuberant mutt, a suspicious chief of police, and lots and lots of laughs.
