“It’s been a while since I’ve done this.” I frown, confused. “I thought you said you’ve never had a one-night stand before?” “I haven’t.” Noah plays with a loose thread on his towel, averting my gaze. “I mean sex. I haven’t had sex in…two years.” “At all?” Shit. I didn’t mean to blurt it out like that. Before I can say anything to let him know there’s nothing wrong with not having had sex in a while, he juts his chin out. “There is Max, I guess.” My brows crease. “Max?” Noah tips his head toward the nightstand. “Wait. You killed a guy called Max and stuffed him into your bedside table?” Noah’s head falls back, and he laughs. His laughter is warm and breathy, and I’m happy my attempt to lighten the mood seems to have worked. “Max is my dildo.” I scooch down the bed and position myself next to Noah. My hand finds his thigh. “Well, no offense to Max, but he’s no match for my spectacular cock.” “Is that so?” “Yeah. You want me to prove it?” I tease. Noah licks his lips, nodding.
