All the Stars
By Duckie Mack
Love Bank Romance, Book 1
Rider doesn’t have a lot of rules when it comes to guys, but there is one- he doesn’t date, not ever. He’s content with random hookups because dating means too much. That’s reserved for the one person he knows he can never have, his best friend, Cameron.
After watching his own family fall apart, Cam longs for someone who will stick it out through thick and thin. He’s had a string of girlfriends that never seem to be the right one. The one person he can always count on is Rider.
One night out changes everything between them. When Rider ends up telling Cam the secret he’s been hiding, Cam is left reeling. But will an accident end Cam’s chances to figure out what it means for them?
All the Stars is a heartwarming story of friendship, love, and finding the one that was right in front of you all along.
The Love Bank Romance series features sweet LGBTQ love stories with a little heat.

“Crow, I’d like you to meet my good friend, Cameron,” Rider said as he nudged me forward slightly. Crow…right…stage name.
Crow ran his gaze up and down me, and I felt my cheeks warm under his examination. I tried to ignore the way he took me in and stuck my hand out. “Hi, it’s great to finally meet you. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
“Mmhmm.” He flicked his attention to Rider. “Different from what I imagined, but I can see it.” He winked at him before connecting with me again. What the hell was that about?
He took my hand and shook it. “You can call me Ian, just not in front of the fans. I have an image to maintain.” Ian smirked.
“Well, you can call me Cam in front of anyone. I have no image.” I clamped my jaw shut at how dumb that sounded. Ian laughed, but at least Rider attempted to cover his amusement with a cough. God, I was an idiot sometimes. Just meeting the super hot and confident rock star who happens to be friends with my friend, no big deal.
When Rider went to grab something from the side of the stage, Ian stood up and stepped closer to me.
He put his hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eye. “You got a good one there, you know that?” He indicated towards Rider.
A good what? Friend? The best, better than any person could hope for. Person? Incredible, he had the biggest heart despite everything he’d been through. I didn’t know exactly what Ian was referring to, but whatever it was, I had to agree. “Yeah, I know.”
“But do you though?” Ian’s brow raised. Before I could ask what he meant, Rider came back.
Ian threw an arm over Rider’s shoulder and leaned in to tell him something. The house music came on, but I thought I heard him say, “Straight as he thinks.” Rider stiffened and Ian waved goodbye as he headed off to the green room to wait for their set.
Was he talking about me? Maybe I’d misheard. With the room not yet packed with bodies, the music they were pumping through the speakers was loud. Rider stood frozen in place, staring at nothing. Weirdness abounded.
“What was that about?” I asked Rider.
Rider shook his head as if he were trying to clear away whatever thoughts he was processing. “It was nothing. You want a drink? I need a drink.”
