Going back to where it all began!! I’ve loved Sloan and Conall in all the other stories and seeing their origin story shows their bond forged in blood!!
This is a dark romance with grit, violence, betrayal, and danger at every turn. It’s thrilling, gripping, and passionate! I loved getting Sloan’s “side” of the story and more insight into his mind, his feelings, care, and possession reflected in his actions and words. Sloan is a force to be reckoned with and a fabulous Kingpin! I loved these two and look forward to many more stories with them and their continuing journey.
The story and writing is dynamic and engaging and I feel I know these characters even better now I’ve read their story!! I’m forever a fan of Meg (& Ki), the world they’ve created, and these dark and dangerous characters I can’t help but love! Highly recommended story and world; you just need to dive into today!!
