Genre: M/M Romance
When a veterinarian and a construction worker connect, it takes mishaps, mistakes, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Rex to show them they’re made for each other.
Dr. Carter Falon is content living a quiet life in a small town caring for his animal patients. That doesn’t mean he’s not looking for a distraction. After finding himself precariously wedged… naked and at the mercy of a drop-dead gorgeous construction worker, Carter hires his savior to renovate his home.
When Tanner Grady’s best friend and new niece needed him, he uprooted and relocated without a second thought. His life has since been centered on work and spending time with his family, but when he comes to the rescue of a cute vet, Tanner finds he’s a lot more interested in the homeowner than the house he’s renovating.

A compelling, cute and heartwarming story!
This was a new to me author and Becca’s style of writing is so easy to read, authentic, witty and heartwarming. I loved the opening meet-cute between Carter and Tanner and their story and connection just gets better from there!! As both characters adjust to life in a small town and take on some life changes along the way they are drawn together more and more.
I loved all the characters Bacc has created and really enjoyed the back and forth between Tanner and Carter and the hilarious medaling of both of their best friends. When Carter is unfortunately bullied at work, Tanner is there for him and while I hate the bully I loved the character development and growth of both Carter with his big heart and caring nature and the bully, who was lashing out, out of fear.
This is a feel-good read with great characters the perfect made family and so much heart you can’t help but all in love! I look forward to many more stories by Becca and just love these characters so much!!!
